Michelle Lee Lagerroos

Michelle Lee Lagerroos works as a wrangler of children by day and a book designer/screenprinter/printmaking instructor by night. She is the screen printer behind Angry Peanut Press, which found its vision when Michelle’s young toddler insisted on wearing a “Goridda” shirt every day. Tiring of washing that gorilla shirt, Michelle realized she had a skill that could be incredibly useful. Within a week, she printed several gorilla shirts, and getting her daughter dressed became fun and easy! Michelle loves making clothing that kids like to wear and that parents like to put on their kids—as well as t-shirts just for adults. The clothing is hand-screenprinted in her home studio in south Minneapolis and has all been extensively quality-tested by her 2 and 6 year olds.
